Printer Issues
Adding a printer to the network. Network connection issues and configurations. We work with Epson, Brother, HP, Ricoh Samsung and Xerox We support the printing process from configurations through to print rips to screen and large format printers.
Network Configurations
From home network solutions to large office configurations we support Mac only networks as well as Mac and PC combined environments. We support all router and switches and currently network with Cisco, HP Procurve, Netgear, DLink, Linksys, Siemens, Billion and Belkin. We support existing networks as well as consulting on new network or updating new network configurations.
We support all desktop configurations from Apple Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X 10.7 (current), Windows XP to Windows 7 and VMWare and Parallels.
Network Connections
Tecnosys provides wholesale ADSL2+, SHDSL and Fibre DDFE connections. We support all the major Business grade ISPs as well as providing email and website hosting, FTP and telephones services.
Telephone VoIP
We offer business grade telephone solutions. This works within your current practices to allow voicemail to email, call diverts and routing, free office to office networking.
Network Cabling
Whether for troubleshooting or new network configurations we provide network and Cat-6 cabling, Fibre optic cabling, termination and testing.
Backup Solutions
Tecnosys provides many backup solutions both for on-site and offsite backup. We provide instant data retrieval and support Retrospect, Time Machine, Synchronise Pro X and PresSTORE. All companies using our ADSL2+ products have the option of data storage at our data centre which provides redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communication connections, environmental controls and security devices.
Telephone Network Services
We are currently supporting the iPhone and Blackberry platforms and include the configuration and support of the BES platform.
Email and Web Services
We provide Windows Exchange Service transfers and Google App installations and support. We also work with the major mail servers such as Kerio, Apple Mail Server, Microsoft Exchange and CommuniGate Pro.
Server Support
We specialise in Apple Server support working with Apple Mac OS X Server through to 10.7 (current). We support all Apple XServes, XServe RAID, Promise Vtrak RAID and are an Apple XSan certified provider. We also provide support with Windows Terminal Services and Promise Fasttrak RAID.
Software Applications
Tecnosys supports many network types, from home user to corporate and retail. We are up to date on all the current software technologies, iLife, iWork, iMovie, Garage Band and the Final Cut Suite.
Retail
We also work with many retail clients and work with many of the POS systems. This includes Magic, Maitre'D, Magenta Retail and ReservIT. Accountancy - MYOB and QuickBooks.
Font Management
We support FontAgent Pro, FontExplorer X Pro, Suitcase, Apple Font Book.
Design and Prepress
We support Quark, Pitstop and all versions of Adobe Creative Suite.
Database Support
We currently support and provide development services for database solutions. We work with our own products as well as developing with FileMaker Pro. We also support networks with 4D Database and other DBMS platforms.
